- Don’t chase volume. Meaningful content > More content.
- Speak directly to the people you want to serve. You’ll build a stronger, more aligned audience.

If you've been showing up, posting and putting in the work but still feel invisible, this one's for you. Hey y'all, it's your podcast, bestie Jama again, and today we're talking about why you might not be getting noticed even though you're doing all the right things. Let's be real, posting content, showing up on camera, updating your bio, all of it takes time and energy, but when it doesn't move the needle, that's frustrating. You start questioning whether it's even worth it. You wonder if your voice is getting lost in the scroll. I've been there and I want to break it down for you so you can figure out what's actually missing and fix it. Here's the truth that no one really tells you. Showing up online is only half the job. The other half is being memorable when you do. That doesn't mean louder, it means clearer, it means people need to understand who you are, what you stand for and why they should pay attention, because otherwise you're just blending in with everyone else. So let me tell you a personal story about a time I was doing all the things. I was posting consistently. My captions were thought out, I was showing my face and it still felt like no one was really paying attention. That's when I realized this. I was present but not positioned. People saw me but they didn't get me, and that's when I started shifting, how I showed up and, honestly, a big part of why I started this podcast. I got really clear on who I was talking to. I stopped trying to sound like everyone else and I stopped shrinking my message to be more palatable. That changed everything and I feel way more aligned on this podcast than on anything else I've ever done.
Jama Pantel:So if you're wondering why people aren't engaging, here are three common reasons. Number one you're not clear. If your message is vague, people won't latch onto it. They don't know if it's for them or not. Instead of saying, for instance, me, I help women feel confident, I've leaned in more to saying I help women in male-dominated industries build a presence that commands respect. I got really specific. Number two you're hiding the parts that make you interesting. If you're playing it too safe, your content fades into the background. People connect with realness. They want to know what drives you, what you've overcome, what you stand for. You don't have to overshare, but if you're not sharing at all, you will be forgettable. Number three you're chasing volume instead of value. More posts, more platforms, more noise. None of it matters if your content isn't meaningful. It's better to post one thing that hits than five that say nothing at all.
Jama Pantel:So what can you do to finally get noticed? Here's what works. Get specific about who you help and how. Use your actual voice, not some polished version of you. Show your face and stop hiding behind graphics and quotes. Tell stories, not just strategies. People remember moments, not bullet points. Create content with a point of view, not just what's trending.
Jama Pantel:And remember you don't need everyone. You need the right people to notice you, and that starts when you get clear, real and bold. So if you're tired of feeling invisible, I've got you covered. You can grab my 30 days of personal brand prompts, my natural light cheat sheet, or strike a pose guide. Or, if you want to go a little bit deeper, you can check out my show up confidently on camera. A mini course that I did. All of those are available on my website, jamapantel. com, and you can click on the links in the show notes if you want to find them there. You don't need to become someone else to get noticed. You just need to stop hiding the parts that make you you. So thanks for listening y'all. Keep showing up, keep living the whole picture and remember, your voice deserves to be heard. Until next time, bye.
